LOFTIS

CENSUS RECORDS: 1830 Dist. #9, Jackson County, Tennessee page #142
LOFTIS, Labon 1 male 5 to 10 (?), 1 male 15 to 20 (Labon Jr.), 1 male 60 to 70 (Labon Sr.), 1 female 5 to 10 (?), 1 female 20 to 30 (?), 1 female 50 to 60 (Elizabeth)
(I would think that the two youngest are probably grandchildren. I believe the male 5 to 10 is possibly my Labon who was 24 in 1850 and married to Mary Jones. I believe the older female 20 to 30 name unknown at this time is his mother and the unnamed daughter of Labon. I believe the girl 5 to 10 is probably her child as well.)

I believe by 1840 she has either died or finally gotten married.

CENSUS RECORDS: 13 Aug 1860 Pottawatomie Twp, Coffey, Kansas page #721, family #8/8
MARGROVE, Sarah age 16, female, $100 & $250, OH
MARGROVE, Lavina age 14, female, OH
MARGROVE, Jackson age 8, male, OH
MARGROVE, Sabastien age 37, male, OH
(This census record is really screwed up. Sarah should be around late 30's early 40's, Lavina should be about 16, Jackson should be about 14, Sebastian should be about 8. After typing this I realize that the ages are about right except they put Mom's age on Sebastian and moved everyone up one. According to the transcriped census on the Coffey County, Kansas board they have Sarah as 41, Lavina 16, Jackson 14 and Sabastian 8.)
