Death has again visited our humble home and robbed us of its brightest jewel, taking our dear wife and mother on 8 Sep 1897. Theodosia Eliza BAGWELL wife of James R. BAGWELL was the daughter of Duke K. and Elizabeth BETTIS and was born in East Tennessee 8 May 1857. She married James R. BAGWELL 18 Feb 1877 and was the mother of 8 children, 5 of whom survive. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Deer Creek near Sheridan.
