Charles CHANDLER

They came to the area of Crittenden County, Kentucky in about 1840.

He was 54 in 1850 living in Dist #1, Crittenden County, Kentucky.

He was 64 in 1860 living in Dist #1, Crittenden County, Kentucky.

NOTES: I believe he is probably buried in an unmarked grave at the Allen-Phillips Cemetery in Crittenden County, Kentucky. His mother-in-law Nancy Hardwick and several of his children and grandchildren are buried at this cemetery.


Mary Ann HARDWICK

She was 45 in 1850.

She was 54 in 1860.

DEATH RECORDS: Crittenden County, Kentucky
Mary A. CHANDLER, widow, age 72, died of dropsy 29 March 1878, born, died and raised in Crittenden County, parents are unknown.

NOTES: I believe she is probably buried in an unmarked grave at the Allen-Phillips Cemetery in Crittenden County, Kentucky. Her mother Nancy Hardwick and several of her children and grandchildren are buried at this cemetery.


Thomas Jefferson CHANDLER

He was 32 in 1860, living by himself in Dist #1, Crittenden County, Kentucky.

MILITARY RECORDS: He fought in the Civil War in the Union Army Company E, 48th Illinois Infantry and was wounded at the battle of Corinth, Mississippi. He returned to his mother's home in Crittenden County and for a time was under the care of Dr. Thomas Dean before he died.

She was 12 in 1850.

He was 7 in 1850.

He was 12 in 1850.

He was 22 in 1860 living with his sister Mary PICKENS.

She was 15 in 1860.

He was 12 in 1850.

He was 34 in 1870, married to Millie and living in District #12, Jackson County, Tennessee.

He was 46 in 1880 born in Tennessee as were his parents, living in Carrsville, Livingston, Kentucky.

He was 65 in 1900, said he had been married for 34 years, born in Tennessee as were his parents, living in Ray Springs, Livingston, Kentucky.

He was 77 in 1910, married for 46 years, born in Tennessee as were his parents, living in Dist #5, Livingston County, Kentucky.


Albert HUMPHREYS

He was 1 in 1870.


Thomas SALTER

He apparently never had any children or any that lived any lengthn of time as in his will he mentions his sisters and their children and his half-brother and his children but none for himself.


Finnie Lawrence CORLEY
