Isaac is recorded as one of six Flanary's in the area of McElmurry Station on the upper Mississippi River in 1777. In 1815, Isaac appointed Robert Morrison to secure the land claims of his and all the surviving heirs of Thomas Flanery, Sr., Joshua, Abraham, and donation rights of Thomas, Jr. Isaac had left a Will in 1836 in Jackson, Arkansas.
