According to the OBITUARY, he was 300 lbs. and died from injuries received when he fell off a wagon coming home from a local saloon. He literally AND figuratively fell off the wagon.

Mentions - daughter Harriet B. HOLT who was born out of wedlock, but shall not be disinherited, but become a legal heir to his estate. Also mentions - son William HOLT. Will says that both children are under 21 years of age and if they shall die before reaching 21 or leaving any heirs then Nathan's estate to go to his sister Susan. No last name is given for Susan so I assume she is single and a HOLT.
