The 1900 census states that Fannie was a widow, but was she divorced from Everett or did he really die?

She was 2 in 1880.

When they married there is just the license date no return date listed. Were they ever actually married? She was 14 and Henry was 21 years old. (Crittenden Press Newspaper on January 4th, 1894 says they did get married.)

Evert STONE to Fannie CLARK 13 April 1895 (Crittenden Press Newspaper 18 April 1895 Everette Stone and Fannie Clark left for parts unknown last Friday. They left together in a buggy and have probably been united in marriage by this time.)

Fannie was 21 in 1900, listed as a widow, born in June 1878, her name is given as Leona Clark instead of Fannie Stone and Leona is listed as Annie Clark. Fannie's son Millard Stone is listed as Millard Clark age 1 born in August 1898.

She was living in Marion when her mother died in 1911.

He was 13 in 1910 living with his mother and step-father Claude Champion.


Claud Utley CHAMPION

He was 23 in 1900, single, living as a boarder in Julia Beard Clark's home and was working as a day laborer.


Eunice DOUGHTY

She was married to Claud late in life and they never had any children together.


James Phillip DOSS

He was under 5 in 1830.

He was in the 10 to 15 age bracket in 1840.

He was 23 in 1850 living with his sister Sarah Donley and her husband.
