DEATH RECORDS: Her death certificate was signed by H. C. McDaniel of Clarkton, Dunklin, Missouri. She died of dropsy of the heart. Her death certificate says she was born Feb 1843 and she was 74 years and 8 months old. But she would have really been born in 1849 and therefore would have been 68 years and 8 months old. Wes and Julie her parents would have only been 13 years old if she was born in 1843. Plus they were not married until 1848.

NEWSPAPERS: In the Crittenden Press Newspaper she was filing for a divorce from Augustus Veal (29 Oct 1896) she was using the name Sarah J. Veal. I found where Gus Veal, married again 17 Dec 1890, in Crittenden County. He apparently was married to both women at the same time. Maybe Eliza found out and that's why she sue for divorce in 1896.
NOTES: She lived on Varmint Trace Road in Princeton, Caldwell, KY 15 April 1910 census records film #1374481 and she said she was a widow. But on the 1900 census she said she was divorced. Also on 1900 census her first daughter had the last name of Fraley the second the last name of Veal and the third the last name of Nelson. Were all three really Augustus Veal's children are did they all three have different fathers?
