HISTORY: CLARK & BUSH The marriage in April 1833 united two prominent families living in Bush Settlement in Clark County, Kentucky. William P. Clark was the son of William Clark and the grandson of Robert Clark Sr., and their home was about a half-mile south-east of THE OLD STONE MEETING HOUSE along the road to Boonesborough. He married Elizabeth Ann Walton Bush, the daughter of Jonathan V. Bush and the granddaughter of John Bush, one of the five brothers who established Bush Settlement in 1779.
She was 7 in 1880.
HISTORY: A Trustee of the Academy in Montgomery County, Kentucky by act of Legislature in 1793. He represented Montgomery County in Kentucky Legislature in 1797. Moved to Howard County, Missouri in 1818. One of the Missouri's first senators.
