He went to Erie County, Pennsylvania. He had at least 6 children.


Adam BAIRD

NOTES: He was the only child by his mother.

NOTES: He was left land in his father's will.

NOTES: He moved to Tennessee, then to Orange County, Indiana before 1812 and to Wabash County, Illinois in 1824, where he manufactured household furniture. He died while visiting relatives in Randolph County, Illinois.

In 1830 Adam Baird and his sons, John W., Samuel and Andrew, along with their wives were some of the first members of the Lick Prairie Church. In 1853 Samuel Baird along with Daniel Keen and Eli Moore were chosen to head a committee to build a new meeting house for the Lick Prairie Church in Wabash County, Illinois.

His father's Will said he and Simon were the two youngest sons.

He migrated with the group that went with Rev. Alexander Porter to Preble co, Ohio.
