TAX RECORDS: Livingston County, Kentucky Delinquent Tax List for the year 1837
There is a Samuel (Lemuel) COUNCIL who is on the list and it says "Dead not able to pay". Is this a brother or possible father to Cutching????

NOTES: I forgot to tell you Cuthings Council was killed by a run away team of Oxens just a few days before his only child James David was born. This information was given by Ellis Counsil my father-in law, from Wanda Council.

NOTES: Cutchings was the bondsman for the marriage of his sister-in-law Huldah Ford when she married Alexander Beard on 21 Feb 1838. So he would have had to die sometme after February 1838.

BAIRD and Cutching COUNCIL made oath that Lucy FORD mother of the said Sally signed certificate of consent. Council is over the age of 21 years. Consent dated 22 March 1836 - Sir Mister Dellem, pese to let Cutching Council have his lisons and oblig your frend. Signed Lucy Foard.

She was 39 in 1900 and said she was the mother of 7 children and all 7 were still living. She is listed as Susan C. E.

13 March 1942, Mrs. Chadwick Dies Friday at age of 82. Mrs. Susanna Catherine Nancy Daniel Chadwick, one of the community's oldest and most hightly respected women, died at her home at this place, Friday morning, after several days illness. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Lelon Looper and John Ed Steely. Interment was at Flat Rock cemetery. Deceased was born March 2, 1861 in Kentucky. She moved to Arkansas as a child and the greater part of her life was spent in this section. In 1877 she was married to William Chadwick, whose death occured in 1935. Seven children were born to this union. Mrs. Chadwick was converted at the age of 14 and united with the Baptist church and lived a devout Christian life. Surviving are four sons and one daughter, Frank of California, Wiley of Oklahoma, Amberson of Oxford, Arkansas, Clem of Kansas and Mrs. Mattie Jones of Oklahoma. Twenty-eight grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren also survive.

DEATH RECORDS: Arkansas Death Record Index shows, CHADWICK, Emily died in Izard County, 6 March 1942 age 81.

Jesse FORD

NOTES: This is the Jesse FORD son of William FORD of Virginia who came to Livingston County, Kentucky sometime between 1812 and 1820. There were 2 other Jesse FORD's in the Livingston and Crittenden County areas. One was from South Carolina and the other possibly from Virginia, but he left and died in Louisiana.


NOTES: He was a blacksmith. He served during the Revolutionary War. His tombstone says that he was a member of the Presbyterian Church for 60 years and an Elder for 17 years.
