Edna Mae WINDERS

OBITUARY: Crittenden Press 29 January 2004
Edna Mae Stalion, 75, of Marion, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Glendale General Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, Bobby Gene Winders of Paducah. Mrs. Stalion was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Stalion, three sisters and one brother. Her parents were Grover and Violet Winders. Friends may call at the Gilbert Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Thursday (today). Services are 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmy Porter and the Rev. Tony Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Love Cemetery.


Peter MCDOWELL

MILITARY RECORDS: Peter McDowell served as a Captain in the war. He died in 1892 and is buried in the New Union Cemetery and does not have a tombstone. References: WPA Veteran's Grave Registration, Crittenden County, Ky, Western Kentucky Journal, Vol. XI, No. 2, pg. 41

She was 20 in 1860.

She was 39 in 1880, widowed, living with her children in Salem, Livingston, Kentucky.

She was 60 in 1900, widowed, living with her children in Lola, Livingston, Kentucky. She said she was the mother of 7 children but only 6 were still living.

Thomas Henry FOWLER

CENSUSA RECORDS: 1910 Clementsburg Road, Crittenden, Kentucky 12/12, he was
the head of the house, and was farming. His mother, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and
a sister-in-law are all living in the house.


John William FOWLER

In 1910, he is living with his brother Thomas and says that he and Lucy have
just been married.
