HISTORY: WOOSLEY, Burrell T. of Madison Twp., Madison County, Iowa - farmer in Section 32, P. O. Earlham, born in Christian County, Kentucky in 1832, came to Madison County in 1861, married in 1854 to Missouri BUTLER of Knox County, Illinois, has six children, all living. Mr. WOOSLEY served one year in the Union Army in Company I, 15th Iowa Infantry, under General BELKNAP. USA Pension #768598, Cert. #548710 enlisting in Missouri. Mr. WOOSLEY has, by hard work and good management, bought and paid for one of Madison's best farms. He has a fine house, which cost him about $2,500.
