Colonel Haynes MORGAN Sr.

MILITARY RECORDS: He was a Sergeant Major in the French and Indian Wars, a Lieut. Colonel of the 1st Regt. Pittsylvania County, Virginia Militia in the Revolutionary War. Officer during the Revolutionary War and was at the Battle of Guilford Court House on 15 March 1781.

PROBATE RECORDS: His will was written in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on 15 January 1790 and was not probated until 20 April 1795.


Mary THOMPSON

NOTES: After her husband died apparantly she lived with her son Haynes Jr., Mary her son Haynes and his wife and family left Pittslyvania County, Virginia in 1817, and according to the History of Pittslyvania County, Virginia they did not say where they were going.
