NEWSPAPER: The Crittenden Press Newspaper, 8 December 1904, Richard Hill, of Onalaska, Arkansas, a former Crittenden County boy, came in last week on a visit to see his old friends and while here he met and proposed to his sweetheart, Miss Susie Daniel, the handsome daughter of the late Thomas Daniel, of the Fords Ferry vicinity. Wednesday morning accompanied by several friends and her sisters and brothers they drove to Marion and repaired to the residence of Rev. W.T. Oakley, where they were pronounced husband and wife. They took the 11 o'clock train from Cairo and thence via the Cotton Belt line home. The Press extends congratulations.
