Mr. Collin Daniels, formerly a citizen of this place, died in Howell County, Missouri, some weeks ago. His relatives here will probably send for his three small children, who are now without father or mother.


Louwanda Bigham ELDER

She was 3 in 1860.

She was 13 in 1870.

CHURCH RECORDS: Membership Bethany Presbyterian Church. Infant baptism in 1860, Joined in 1871. Lou was dismissed from membership of Bethany Presbyterian Church in 1879. Dismissed means she moved away, not kicked out etc. This would be about the time she and her husband Collin moved to Missouri.

NOTES: She died the day after giving birth to Samuel and was buried in Hutton Valley where they were living at the time.


Emma DANIEL

She was 3 in 1880.

NEWSPAPER: Miss Emma Daniels, niece of James Tilford Elder, is very ill at the home of her Uncle in this place. She has typhoid fever and her recovery is exceedingly doubtful. (17 Oct. 1895) Miss Emma Daniel died at the residence of her Uncle Thursday and was buried at the Old Cemetery Friday. (24 Oct. 1895) The Crittenden Press Newspaper.

CENSUS RECORDS: He was 16 in 1930 and was listed as Buster BEARD step-son to Clyde Brewer.
