Ziethen
Szcytno/Ziethen was already in the 1100's the seat of a castellan territory and an independent church diocese. In the nearby lake is
an island called Wyspa Zamoka (Schlosswerder) where a defensive fortress once stood. When the Teutonic Order acquired the
Schlochauer Land, Szcytno lost it's importance to the rapidly developing Schlochau. The old church standing here since the 1200's
collapsed and was demolished. During the Reformation an Evangelical parish was created. In 1617 the Catholic church was taken over by the
Protestants and was thenceforth a branch of the Prechlau parish. The neglected church was closed in 1818 and demolished soon afterward.

ist, eine Insel genannt Wyspa Zamoka (Schlosswerder), wo eine verteidigende Festung einmal stand. Als die teutonische Reihenfolge den
Schlochauer Land erwarb, verlor Szcytno, es ist Wichtigkeit zum schnell neu entstehende Schlochau. Die alte Kirche, die hier steht, weil
die 1200 zusammenbrachen und zerstört wurden. Während der Reformation wurde ein Evangelischer Pfarrbezirk geschaffen. In 1617
wurde die katholische Kirche von den Protestanten übernommen und war dann ein Zweig des Prechlau Pfarrbezirkes. Die verwahrloste Kirche
wurde in 1818 geschlossen und wurde bald danach zerstört. Vor WWII gab es noch einen Friedhof und einen Glocke-Turm hier. Vom Buch:
