County of Polk }  Be it known to all persons that I Mary L. Torian?  wife of William B. Torian?
Citizen of Polk County State of Texas do hereby in compliance with an act of the Legislature
of the State of Texas passed 29th day of April 1846, Entitled and Act to provide for the
Registration of the Separate Property of Married Women and other laws in such cases made
and provided do hereby make and acknowledge the following as a list or Schedule of my own
property held Separate and apart from my said husband.  Viz:
One thousand acres of land more or less being part of the Sikes and Scales? League
situated in said County of Polk and being the same lands conveyed to me by my Uncle
P. C. Bethel by deed of Gift bearing date the 10th of March A.D.1869.  Also two horses
and four mules now upon my farm also four yoke of oxen fifty head of Sheep one ox-wagon
one Buggy, set plows six sets of Gear and Two thousand dollars in money in hand so my said
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal using Scroll for seal this
9th day of December A.D. 1872

County of Polk } I John R. Oats an acting Justice of the Peace duly elected Commissioned
bonded and sworn in and for Beat No. 3 Polk County Texas and Ex officio Notary Public do
hereby certify that Mary L. Torian?  wife of William B. Torian? citizen of said County and State
to me well known this day personally appeared before me at my office in said County separate
and apart from her said husband and acknowledged the within and foregoing Schedule to be a
list of her Separate Property and she signed the same in my presence and requested me to
certify her acknowledgement and that the same may be admitted to Record as her act and
deed for the purposes and consideration therein set forth and expressed—

this the 9th day of December A.D. 1872
