The State of Texas}
County of Polk     }  A Schedule of the property which Catherine Redding wife of Johathan
F. Redding of Polk County and State of Texas now owns and possesses “towit, one Horse
named Sam, a paint color branded with (“Q” like symbol) Spanish Brand on the left hip—
one Road Wagon—Two yoke work oxen, two of  the oxen are marked with a cross off the
Left Ear Branded (“J” like symbol) one of the other Branded (J.P. like symbol) and six head
of hogs, marked upper bit in the Right Ears and under bit in the left Ear—all of said property
was purchased by my said Husband with my money and effect that I owned and possessed
by me before our marriage in Trinity County Texas in the year A.D. 1857—All of which said
property is the Separate Property of said Catherine Redding, and now is the possession of
said Catherine and her husband J. F. Redding.

County of Polk      }  This day before me L. S. McMickin Clerk of the County Court
personally appeared Catherine Redding, wife of J. F. Redding, both to me well known who
acknowledges that they signed foregoing for all the purposes therein stated and claimed that
the foregoing property mentioned and described in the foregoing Schedule to be the Separate
Property of Catherine Redding and also at the same time appeared J. F. Redding under oath
and says that the property therein named is the Separate Property of his wife Catherine Redding
Given under my hand and official Seal September the 22nd A.D. 1858
