 Wade Williford, Polk Farmer, Dies

     "LIVINGSTON, Oct. 13 (1952)-Wade A. Williford, a retired farmer who lived here 70 years, died in Polk County Hospital at 1 pm Sunday.  He was 76 years old.
     "Mr. Williford was born in Hardin County in 1876 and moved here as a child.  He celebrated his 76th birthday on Oct. 2.
     "Funeral services were held at the Big Sandy Church at 2 pm Monday with the Revs. Robert J. Walters and R. S. Marshall officiating.  Burial was in the Big Sandy Cemetery.
     "Mr. Williford, who was a member of the Methodist Church, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sallie Williford; two sons, W. H. Williford of Segno, and Jim Williford of Honey Island; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Dillon of Dollardsville and Mrs. Lucy Wiggins of Segno; a sister, Mrs. W. W. Hendrix of Livingston; and 12 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
