Gilbert G. Roberds
     "Funeral services for Gilbert G. Roberds, 63, were held at Menard Chapel Saturday .... Mr. Roberds, who had lived at Kilgore since 1931, died Friday, February 17 while on a visit at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.E. Seale, of Pelly.  Death was due to pneumonia.
     "He was a former resident of Polk County, having moved to Pelly about 13 
years ago.  He was an employee of Gulf Production Company and in 1931 was 
transferred to Kilgore.
     "Mr. Roberds is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lulu Roberds, three daughters, 
Mrs. E.P. Simpson and Mrs. O.R. Rohrer of Daisetta and Mrs. Seale; two sons, R.W. Roberds of Daisetta and W.E. Roberds of Pelly; three stepdaughters, Mrs. C.C. Roberts and Mrs. S.D. Creel of Pelly and Mrs. A.C. Trigg of Louisiana; four step sons Allen Rice of Goose Creek, Durwood Rice of Pelly, B.B. Rice of Kilgore and G.A. Rice of Overton; three brothers, D.D. Roberds, I.I. Roberds and H.H. Roberds, all of Livingston."
