   "LEGGETT, April 24, - This morning while T. W. Fields was doing some repair work on a dry kiln the scaffold gave way, and he was caught under the debris, receiving very severe scalp wounds.  Dr. J. Jett Pinckard says there is a slight fracture of the skull, but thinks that he is not seriously wounded."
   "Railroad Agent Pirkins ( Perkins ) of Moscow was in the city today."
