1907-TWO COUPLES MARRIED
............."From Moscow: A wedding in which unusual interest
centered, owing to the popularity of the contracting parties, was that
which occurred at the home of Dr. and Mrs. J.J. Canon on Wednesday afternoon
when their youngest daughter, Nettie, was joined in marriage to Mr. Joe
H. Victery, Rv. J.M. Perry, pastor of Bruner Methodist Church, Houston
officiating. They were accompanied to the train at 2:30 p.m., by
the guests, who were a few intimate friends and near relatives, and there,
mid showers of rice and good wishes, they left for a short wedding trip
Houston and Galveston, after which they will be at home at Keltys,
where Mr. Victery is in the employ of the Angelina County Lumber Co."
