THE STATE OF TEXAS
To the Hon. The Judge of the County Court of Polk County, State of Texas holding Court pertaining to the business of estates.
January Term 1850
Your Petitioner represents that Drury Manning late of Polk
County of the State of Texas departed this life intestate on the 18th day
of July eighteen hundred and forty-nine leaving both real and personal
estate. Petitioner also represents that she is the surviving wife of the
said Drury Manning, deceased, and that no administration has yet been taken
upon his estate, but that the same is vacant. She therefore prays that
the usual notices be published and that your honor will grant her Letters
of Administration with the powers and duties infered by law in such cases
