From Michaela:
As for John Pavely sister Maria b.1795 this is also very conflicting but was
proposed by my cousin Iain Pavely that a Maria Pavely married a George Beadnell
Middleton in 1821, St.Lukes, London and then a gentleman namely? Bamfield
according to the 1851 Census she was an Army Officer 'Widow' of Shoreditch and
had a son called Samuel.G.Bamfield b.1828 Surrey/Strand, Middlesex again no
proof of marriage to this Bamfield. Her date of birth does match ours but as
you noted the area of Chichester supposedly where she was born is conflicting.

J. Fowler "Jock" Hutchison (June 6, 1884 - September 27, 1977) was a
professional golfer. He was born in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland but later moved
to the United States and became a U.S. citizen. He won two major championships,
the 1920 PGA Championship and the 1921 Open Championship at the St Andrews. He
was a U.S. citizen at the time of the later victory, so he probably was at the
time of the former also. His 1921 victory was the first by a U.S. based player;
the following year Walter Hagen became the first U.S. born winner.
In 1937 Hutchison won the inaugural PGA Seniors' Championship at Augusta
National Golf Club, and in 1947 he won that event for a second time.
Hutchison died at the age of 93 in Evanston, Illinois.
