Margaret Clifford (25) died in April, 1901. This was probably son Patrick's first wife.

1901 Ireland Census:
Patrick Clifford, a 72 year-old farmer, lived in the townland of Garrynagran (Moygawnagh Parish) with 60 year-old wife Bridget, 30 year-old widower son Patrick, 25 year-old unmarried daughter Ellen, and 1 month-old Patrick Joseph.

1911 Ireland Census:
Clifford, Patrick 45, Margaret 35, Patrick J 10, Anthony 5, Mary E 4,Thomas 2, Bridget No Age.
