Mrs. Francis Free
Mrs. Fancis ( Mary Jane ) FREE, 67, of Hinton, died Wednesday at her home after a long illness.
Services were at 1- a.m. Mnday at First Congressional Church in Sioux City, Rev. Oscar W. REESE officiated. Visitation was from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial was in Liberty Township Cemetery
Mrs. FREE, the former Mary Jane DILLEY, was born May 16, 1915, at Colfax, to Harvey amd Ruth LAWRENCE DILLEY. She married Francis L. FREE on Jan. 10, 1940, at Des Moines. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy and from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, both in Des Moines, and was a registered nurse.
She came from Des Moines to Sioux City in 1940. She was a member of First Congressional Church in Sioux City and was acrive in 4-H and the American Legion Auxiliary in Hinton.
Survivors are her husband; two dughters, Mrs. Mary SCHULZ of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Sharon MOELLER of Sioux City; her mother, Mrs. Ruth L. DILLEY of Springdale, Ark., and two granchildren.
