Obituaries with burial in Perry Liberty Township Cemetery, Hinton, IA.
************************************************************************************ Mrs. Ole BONNES
Hinton Gazette: The funeral services of Mrs. Ole BONNES, were held from the house at ten o'clock a. m. and from the Potosia U. B. church at 11 o'clock. Rev. Mr. CHEW offiating. Interment was had in Liberty cemetery.
The maiden name of the deceased was Carrie EVENSON. She was born April 6, 1842 in Throndbjem, Norway, She came to this county and to Sioux City in the year 1868; was married on December 30, 1870, to Ole BONNES and two years later she and her husband moved to Plmouth County, where she died June 23, 1904, at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 17 days.
She leaves a husband, three daughters, Edith, Mrs. Roy HURT and Katie; one son, Oliver. Two other sons died in 1875; one brother, Evan EVENSON. The deceased survived three sisters.
All the children, excepting Oliver, who is at the Samaritan hospital, were at the bedside of their beloved mother when she passed from this world of care and suffering to the brighter beyond.
