Services Saturday for Carl E. ANDERSON
    Funeral services for Carl E. Anderson, 91, who died Thursday, Sept. 3., at a Sioux City hosptial, were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Leson - Berger North side Funeral home in Sioux City.   Rev. Heary of Christ officiated.   Burial was in the Liberty Township cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Alfred Anderson, Charles Anderson, Albert Swanson, Kenneth Asplund, George Hartman, and William Simons.
    Mr. Anderson was born in Osterjutland, Sweden, on July, 22, 1873, and moved to Chicago when he was 21.   He resided in Creston, IA., before moving to Plmouth counuty and Perry township in 1905.   He married Lottie ASPLUND in Sioux City on Feurary 20, 1907.   THey lived in Newcastle, ME., from 1927 until 1936 when they returned to Plymouth county to farm.
    Mr. Anderson retired and moved to Sioux City in 1945.   Mrs. Anderson died on November 14, 1952, in Sioux City.  For the last nine years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Kenneth JOHNSON, near Hinton.
    Survivors in addition to te daughter include two sons, Edmund A. of Hinton, and Raymond W. of Sioux City; three other daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Cain of McCook Lake, Mrs. John Hoffman of Omaha, and Mrs. Helen Hilton of Sioux City; 13 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren.    Sept. 1964


Was Former County Resident     Judith E. ANDERSON
    Miss Judith Evelyn Anderson, 57, a former Plymouth County resident, died June 5 at a Denver Colo., hospital after a brief illness.
    Miss Anderson was born August 11, 1902 at Creston, IA.  She moved to Plymouth County as a child with her parents and resided most of her life in Plymouth county.  She moved to Denver about two years ago.
    Survivors include three brothers, Wallace of Passadena, Calif.. Alfred of Pierson and Charles Anderson of Hinton, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Brown of Sioux City and Mrs. Pauline Juhl of LeMars.
    Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Nelson - Berger north side Funeral home, Sioux City, with Rev. Royal . Steiner, pastor of Crecent Park Methodist chirch, officiating.  Burial was in Liberty township cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Albert Swanson, Edmund Anderson, Kenneth Asplund and Clair, Dean and Lynn Brown    June 1960

    Charles E. ANDERSON, 75, of Hinton died Tuesday ( June 4, 1985 ) at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illiness.
    Funerl was at 1 p.m. Thursday in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City, Rev. Greg Wittie, pastor of Augustana Luthern Church, officiated.  Burial was in Liberty cemetery, rural Hinton.  Visitation was from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
    Mr. Anderson was born June 10, 1909 in Plymouth county to Henry and Anna Asplund Anderson and was a lifelong county resident.  He married Emma Heise Dec. 30, 1953, in Tydall, S.D.  He farmed in Perry township for many years before moving to Hinton in 1961.   He then worked for the Bartlett Grain Elevator until 1974.
    Mr. Anderson was a member of Augustana Luthern Church in Sioux City
    Survivors are his wife; one son, Dennis of Sioux Falls; on daughter, Mrs. Terrance ( Debra ) McAllister of Sioux City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard ( Betty ) Bohlke of Sioux Falls; one brother, Alfred of Pierson; one sister, Mrs. Lyle ( Pauline ) Juhl of Merrill; two grandchildren; three step granchildren and one step great grandchild.
