The Boarding House

The boarding house owned my Mary A. Grumbles Plumley!

After the death of James T. Plumley, Sr. his widow; Mary A. Grumbles Plumley purchased a house at 303 East 7th Street in Austin, Travis County, Texas.  Taking on boarders until her death in 1914.

It surfaces periodically throughout the history of the family as a place where her sons; John and George lived or a place where her grandson; George Best lived before her death.

These photos have recently been dated, but should they be wrong, feel free to let me know!
