Zeal Monachorum

The earliest members of the Call family that we have been able to identify are located in Zeal Monachorum. The family was there from as early as 1683, and remained in the parish until about 1825. Families that the Calls married into - such as the Colletons and the Milfords - were there even earlier.

Partridge Cottage

In 1814, John Call and his family were living in a residence named Partridge Tenament. It is not clear if the Partridge Cottage that is still standing is the one where the family lived.
