Partridge - C. Naomi Stiggins 71, died Nov. 16, 1999 at Hospice Residental Care Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Sept. 21, 1928, at Partridge, the daughter of Leroy and Marie Durflinger O'Hara. She graduated from Partridge High School in 1945. A lifetime Partridge resident, she worked as a rural letter carrier for Partridge Post Office before her retirement. She later volunteered in the curatorial department of the Reno County Museum.

She belonged to Partridge Community Church, the Uvedale Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a charter member of the Reno County Historical Society.

On June 3, 1945, she married M. Lynn Stiggins at Partridge. He survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jamice Richardson, Hutchinson, and Vicki Galloway and Ginger Stiggins Eberly, both of Partridge; a brother, Robert O'Hara, Wichita; a sister, Jeaneen Taplin, Abilene; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Firday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Pamela J. Tinnin presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday, both at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will remained closed. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Partridge Community Church or Hospice of Reno County, both in care of mortuary.
