Country Vanilla Ice Cream
From: White Mountain Ice Cream Maker
|
4 eggs or 6 eggs |
2 1/4 cups sugar or 3 1/3 cups sugar |
|
5 cups milk or 7 cups of milk |
4 cups heavy cream or 6 cups cream |
|
4 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 6 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon salt or 3/4 teaspoon of salt |
No Cooking! Just eggs to beat and milk to measure. Ice cream to bring back memories of Sunday afternoons
Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs. Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff, Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.
We make Ice Cream in a 1 1/2 gallon White Mountain freezer so we have 1 1/2 times all ingredients.
