Amish Baked Oatmeal

1 1/2 cups quick-cook oats |
1/2 cup sugar |

1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
|
1 egg |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
|
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Spray a 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking. You will be mixing all ingredients together and spreading evenly in the baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until the edges are golden brown. This usually takes about 25-30 minutes. Spoon into bowles, top with milk, fruit, nuts, or even brown sugar if desired. Makes about 6 servings. Recipe doubles well.
