The following inscriptions are found on gravestones located on
Southern Gooseberry Island, Bonavista Bay. Gooseberry Island is
located approximately one mile north of St. Brendan's Island.
A small "tickle" separates North and South Gooseberry
Islands. This cemetery is situated near the western end of the
island. Inscriptions were recorded Oct. 13, 1990 by Wayne Pike,
Certified Genealogist (Canada).
