Burials Database   This is a project to locate and gather burial records for every cemetery in Utah. This is an ongoing project. If you do not find the information you are looking for check back often.

Census Research Forms Free forms, customized by census year, for recording census information. There are also many other forms that you may find useful. These forms may be downloaded.

Soundex Code Find the census soundex code for the surname of your choice.

Census Data Browser   Compile your own demographic census data for the years 1790 - 1960. Other data is also available.

Geographical Information, Maps & More    This is part of the USGENWEB Project. If you have need for information about maps or a specific map, this would be a good place to look.

Help For Researchers  This is part of the USGENWEB Project. It contains a large number of links as diverse as Calendar Information, Cousins Explained, Finding Names, Geography & Maps, Vocabulary and many others. You should at least look through the list.

Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild  This Guild is a group of volunteers dedicated to making the search for our ancestors  who immigrated to the United States easier.

Ellis Island Records   Between 1892 and 1924 over 22 million passengers and members of ships' crews came through Ellis Island and the Port of New York. Now you can research passenger records from ships that brought the Immigrants and even see the original manifests with passengers' names. To see the information in detail you will need to register and receive a user name and password. There is no cost for this registration.

National Archives and Records Administration  NARA is an independent Federal agency that helps preserve our nation's history be overseeing the management of all Federal records. Using this link takes you directly to The Research Room.

Marriage Record Index   Over the past decade, the BYU-Idaho Family History Center has been extracting early marriage records from counties in the western part of the United States. This file contains some 267, 000 marriage records with additional entries being added nearly every working day.
