I found Nicolas during a search of the Pioneer Files at Programme de recherche en démographie historique (PRDH). Parents and descendents came from l'Abbe Cyprien Tanguay's Dictionnaire généalogique des familles canadiennes depuis la fondation de la colonie jusqu'à nos jours (Tanguay), Rene Jette's Dictionnaire généalogique des familles du Québec : des origines à 1730 (Jetté), and the Institut généalogique Drouin's Répertoire alphabétique des mariages des Canadiens français, 1760-1935 (Blue Drouin); Répertoire alphabétique des mariages des Canadiens français, 1760-1935 : ordre féminin (Blue Drouin - feminin); and Dictionnaire national des Canadiens français, 1608-1760 (Red Drouin) as posted by Best Bill of the Quebec-Research-L mailing list.
