Simon Luke married Grace Hodge in Redruth on 1 May 1818
(Simon was christened on 21 March 1793 in Redruth, the son of Robert and Frances Luke)
(In 1841 Simon is a Copper Miner, aged 45. Grace is also 45. The family are living in Buller's Row, Redruth)
(Grace died on 10 January 1846. Simon died on 14 December 1854)

(William and his family landed in San Francisco on 26 November 1863. Arrived in Grass Valley on 6 September 1870)
(In 1880, William was a Miner, aged 58. Lavinia was aged 56. The family were living in Grass Valley, California)
(William died in Grass Valley, Nevada County, California on 9 August 1887 aged 65)
