He died about 18 November 1736. Thomas Weston's, Edmund Weston Descendants, indicates that John always resided in Duxbury at Powder Point. In 1690 he with others hired the "Common Meadows," and he was a freeholder in 1707.
See the Notes for his son David as to David's parentage. It is not clear to this writer if daughters Desire and Deborah are of Deborah or Rebecca but they are listed under Deborah as in Thomas Weston's, Edmund Weston's Descendants.

David WESTON was born about December 1723. He died on 2 September 1805 in Plymouth County, Massachussetts. Thomas Weston's, Edmund Weston Descendants, has David listed under his father's first wife, Deborah Delano. Many researchers have him as the son of Rebecca Peterson, his father's second wife because of the documentation of his death and the marriage date of John Weston and Rebecca Peterson. It is documented in Plympton Vital Records, page 530, that he was "found lying across a small brook near the line between Plympton and Kingston" and that other records have his death as 2 September 1805 aged 81 years, 9 months old. This writer has not seen either record.
