Correction: Elin did not leave with the family that year. In Sept 5-1881 Elin moved to Umeå to see her brother who was Peter Andersson and to work in his store before she emigrated to Nordamericka.

The son Peter is not found in the emigrations records.
You find the family in the Householdregister for Öved parish for 1882 on page 45. the village Skartofta is a place in Öved and Svinstorp is close to it.
*The Person family left Malmö May 4 1882 with the SS Minsk for Newcastle. From there they went to Liverpool and boarded the ship S.S. British King to arrive in Philadephia, Pennsylvainia on 22 May 1882.
