1. Richard Pepys was born estimated 1678 in of, Dublin, Ireland. He died after 1725 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
A Richard Pepys' will is recorded for 1725 in Diocese of Derry, no probate recorded. My assumption that this is father of the three Pepys in Dublin in this period is very slim.
I have put this family together on the basis of the Dublin connection. Surely it would be too much coincidence for their to be more than one Dublin family of Pepys. It would seem possible that the parents or grandparents of the family is Samuel Pepys (son of Richard) who was recored living in Dublin (unmarried) in 1659/60
AP
He had the following children:
2 F i Dorothea Pepys 1, 2, 3, 4 was born in 1704 in St Michan's, Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. Dorothea married Roger Rhodes 1 on 20 Nov 1725 in St Michan's, Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. Roger was born in Racore, Meath, Ireland. + 3 M ii Maj. Urmston Pepys 4 M iii Lieut. Vincent Pepys was born before 1716.
It would seem likely that there is a connection between Vincent Pepys and Urmston Pepys. Both are associated with Dublin.
