REFERENCES | From the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Bachman Valley: on 29 May 1803 Catharine Heilmannin, single (she was the other daughter of Conrad and Anna Maria Heilman, b. 1787) attended with Catharine Sabelin.
The following references, from Zion Church, are to Franz Zepp and his wife Eve Margaret Sable Zepp: Frantz Zepf and Conrad Heilman signed as members of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregatino (Zion's Church) in 1782. In 1783 Frantz Zepf attended Confession as a single person. On Nov 28 1784 appearing for confession were Franz Zepp, single, Conrad and An. Mar. Heilman, and Eva Sabelin, single. On June 19 1785 Franz Zepp and wife Eva took communion and also in 1786, both times with Conrad and An. Mar. Heilman, and Nov 1787. July 6 1788 the Heilmans and Franz and Eva Zepp signed the roll right next to each other, with several of the Menge (Menche, etc. there are scores of strange spellings for this name) unmarried girls right nearby, and May 10 1789 and Nov 1790. On 6 Aug 1785 Frantz Zep and wife witnessed birth of Johannes and Catarina Eltzroth at Zion Church. On 21 Apr 1790 Cathr., d/o Franz and Eva Zepp, was born, sponsor Cathr. Mengin, single. Elisabeth d/o Franz and Eva b. 9 Aug 1793, sponsor Elis. Mangin. Peter, s/o Franz and Eva Zepp, b 3 nov 1796, sponsored by my Conrad and An. Mar. Heilmann Eva Margretha d/o Pet. and Cathr.
