This is the genealogy of my great-grandmother Stella Waage's family. Stella Elmira Waage was born on the 19th of April 1900 to John and Ida (Wicks) Waage. Her grandparents were Endre and Serena (Johnsdatter) Waage and Haktor and Madala (Wicks) Wicks.
On the 8th of November 1922, Stella married Norman S. Jorenby. They had 10 children, 7 sons and 3 daughters. Stella passed away on the 22nd of December 1983 in Volga, Brookings county, South Dakota.

WAAGE: Endre Waage is from the Haugesund, Rogaland, Norway area. Only GG grandfather John and one sister, Ingeborg Marie came to the United States. Ingeborg Marie immigrated in 1888. John immigrated in 1889 and was naturalized in 1902.

WICKS: The Haktor Wicks family is being researched now (2-5-2011).
WICKS: The Madala Wicks family is from the Skanevik, Norway area. The family is descended from the early Kings of Norway.
