Edward 30 and Elizabeth 4 are listed in the 1870 Harlan Co., Kentucky Census, Dist.5, pg.8, #52. They are living next to his father Henry.
Edmond 40 and wife Polly 30 are listed in the 1880 Leslie Co., Kentucky Census, page 533a, #203-206 with Elizabeth 14, Eli 4 and Rebecca 2. Henry is not listed. Polly may be a second wife which could explain the 10 year age differences between the the children. There are several York Families listed on the same page of the census with Edward and Polly.
Edman 63 (b.Mar.1837) and wife Polly 54 (b.Oct.1845) are listed in the 1900 Leslie Co., Kentucky Census, page 40b, #16 with Eli 23 (b.June 1876), Henry 20 (b.June 1879), Isaac 15 (b.July 1884) and Wm. 13 (b.May 1887). They are listed as married for 39 years with 9 children born and 4 living. This fits the original marriage date for Anna York. This Edward is believed to be the son of Henry and will remain listed until proven otherwise.
Until proven otherwise, Anna York and Polly will be considered as the same person.
