PennCemeteries Project

NThis is an on-going project of Floridian Thomas J. Goodwill to catalog graves in various cemeteries in northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York

Each cemetery main page will look like the others, to make it a little easier to navigate.  You will see a title for the cemetery, followed by sections for GPS Coordinates, General Notes, an Index to Graves,  a section for selected Pennsylvania cemeteries, a section for selected New York cemeteries, and helpful links to other web sites.  Where possible, I hope to later add photos of those people for whom I have photos.  My main area of interest is in the Goodwill surname, so I focused on cemeteries where Goodwills are buried.

GPS Coordinates (Example)
I am new to using a GPS hand-held device.  This box has the general GPS coordinates for this cemetery, but some graves may also have coordinates listed.  One very good site for mapping coordinates (or translating them) is:

West
No coordinates are available

General Notes (Found on each cemetery main page)
I have attempted to lay out all pages the same, to make it familiar to users.  The downside is that all pages will look the same, so you need to make note of which cemetery you are looking at.

There is an excellent FREE photo viewing program called Irfanview, available on the Internet.  To download this program:

You are welcome to download these photos.  Pause the cursor over the photo, then choose Save Image As.  To do this in  Windows, right-click.  On a Mac, click and hold the mouse button until you see the message.
