Charles Crump COLEMAN was my paternal great grandfather. From his death certificate we find that he died of pneumonia and was buried in Suttles Cemetery. The informant, his son Edgar Ode COLEMAN, states that Sam COLEMAN was Charley's father, but no name is shown for his mother. Charley is mentioned in the book, DECATUR COUNTY, TENNESSEE 1846-1996, HISTORY AND FAMILIES, c. 1996, published by the Decatur County Historical Society on page 152 as being a farmer living in the Jeanette, Decatur County, TN community.
