In 1741 when John was 22, he married Sarah ADAMS, in Greenwich (Fairfield) CT. Born on 6 Aug 1721 in Greenwich (Fairfield) CT; died in Clifton Park (Saratoga) NY on 11 Jan 1814. They had the following children:

8. Elizabeth. Born on 19 Jul 1763 in Greenwich (Fairfield) CT. Elizabeth died in Otsego (Otsego) NY on 16 Nov 1820. On 16 Jan 1783 when Elizabeth was 19, she married Joseph YOUNGS/YOUNTS. Joseph died on 22 Dec 1843 in Smyrna (Chenango) NY.
