The Heart of Dixie
Hello, my name is Pam. Welcome to my page.
Yes, I'm southern...through and through!
I have a wonderful husband of 18 years and two beautiful
girls that are growing up way to quickly. Nicole is a senior this year and
Morgan will graduate next year.
My family is my life. My children are the reason I get up
in the morning and they are my whole world. My job is to take care of my family
and home along with the horses that we raise, train, and show.
This page is dedicated to my family. I am researching
my ancestors. Along the way I find other information in regards to members that
I am not tracing. Please feel free to write me if you have any questions,
updates or just want to compare notes.

Dear
Ancestor
| Your tombstone stands
among the rest;
Neglected and alone,
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist.
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone. |
Our blood contracts and
beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
