Note 7: Census entries on Line 45 support two, not three, persons in this household.

Point of Interest: Residents 1, 4, 7, 17, 32, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42 and 43 employed their schooners or boats in coasting. Resident 28 used his in the fishery. The use of vessels of residents 8 and 13 is not specified.

Point of Interest: The 1724 census tells us that there were 262 persons living at Port Toulouse at the time the census was taken: 47 Heads of Family and 39 Spouses of those known 47. This represents an increase of  21 additional documented families over the census of 1719.
