scanned the pages I was working from and cut and pasted them together.
It is what I have found in the 1861 ALGOMA census on the Cadreau,
McKay, and Davieaux families. Louise Cadreau (name changed
from
Cadran as some point) married Hyacinthe Davieaux and they had
Mary. The Cadreau family are listed as indian on the
census. The Cadreau family is not in the other Algoma
census. They must have crossed over to the US.
