5 Thornycroft: Radiant, Retriever, Rosalind. 1034-7 tons.
- Dimensions: 274 (o.a.) x 27' 6" x 11 feet (max.) draught.
Also Taurus, Teaser. 1064 tons.
- Dimensions: 274' 3" (o.a.) x 27 x 11 feet. (max.) draught.
Following details for all six (sic) boats :
- Length (p.p.), 265 feet. Mean draught, 8' 6".
- Guns: 3-4 inch, 1-2 pdr. pom-pom, 1 M.G. Tubes : 4-21 inch in pairs.
- Machinery : Brown-Curtis (all-geared) turbines, 2 screws. Designed S.H.P. 29,000 = 35 kts, Boilers: 3 Yarrow. Oil fuel: about 285/220 tons.
- Complement, 82.
General Notes: All War Emergency Programme. Are separated from the "Thornycroft M's" in the same way as the " Admiralty R's " are divided from the " Admiralty M's," viz., by after 4 inch guns being in bandstand and machinery being " all-geared " turbines. No War Losses.
